CETAT setups a computer lab for students at the Dream Academy  (December 2016)

 

Seniors First at Joint Base Andrews  (October 2016 - Present)

CETAT provides small group and individual computer literacy training to military seniors at the Joint Base Andrews Library. Instruction includes Introduction to the Microsoft Office Suite, and fundamentals of technology.

TECH BRIDGE at the YWCA (Sept 2016 - Present)

CETAT is pleased to announce our partnership with the YWCA to provide technology training to their participants.  We believe this partnership will help to improve the lives of women in the region, and help bridge the digital divide.

TECH BRIDGE at the Covenant House DC (March 2016 - Present)

 CETAT provides PC Repair training to youth at the Covenant House DC. This is the first step in helping the students complete their A+ Certification.

Covenant House DC | IC3 Computer Literacy Training (August 2015 - Present)

CETAT provides IC3 computer literacy training to youth at the Covenant House DC. Instruction includes Introduction to the Microsoft Office Suite, and an Introduction to Information Technology concepts.

Prince George's County Memorial Library System - Surratts-Clinton Branch | Computer Literacy Training (September 2014 - Present)

 

CETAT provides small group and individual computer literacy training to Prince George's County residents that utilize the Surratts-Clinton library branch. Instruction includes Introduction to the Microsoft Office Suite, and fundamentals of microcomputers.

CETAT is accepting applications for its 2015 summer creative workshops.  Upon completion of the workshops students will be required to create a portfolio and present their work during the final presentation and awards ceremony.

Students will learn how:

  • to develop websites using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Joomla
  • to develop computer programs using C++ / Visual Basic
  • to edit and manipulate images using Photoshop / GIMP
  • to edit and manipulate video using Adobe Premiere
  • to create and edit music files

You must be:

  • 13 - 18 years old
  • Available between July 6  - July 17
  • A Resident of Prince George's County Maryland
  • Apply by June 1, 2015

Mayor's Commission on Literacy Adult Education and Technology Conference - Temple University (May /2015)

 

CETAT delivered a workshop on web design.  In the hands-on participants learned how to create a web page using HTML.

Dream Academy - Pimlico MiddleSchool Baltimore City | Coding Workshop Feb 2015 - Present

CETAT has partnered with the Dream Academy to provide coding workshops that primarily targets girls at Pimlico Middle School in Baltimore City.

 CETAT presented at the 2015 FETC Conference.  Participants learned how to create innovative websites using HTML.

Mayor's Commission on Literacy Adult Education and Technology ConferenceTemple University (May /2014)

CETAT presented a hands-on session that provided teachers, trainers and administrators with instruction on using a FREE Learning  Management System (LMS) for online, blended and face-to-face workforce development instruction. Participants explored the LMS configuration and its features, which included announcements, assignments, gradebook, attendance, multimedia, test, quizzes, and discussion boards.
