Summary:

This internship is designed for students with a student that have an interest in Information Technology as a career.  As an intern students will gain experience in many of the following:  user training, data management, PC configuration and repair, computer programming, website development, multimedia development, technical writing, cloud computing and computer networking

 

Applicant Requirements:  Resume, Current Transcript and Proof of Enrollment

Duties (range below)

·         train users on business productivity application software

·         train users on the installation, and configuration of computer systems

·         manage data sets and generate reports using a database management system

·         manage cloud computing applications.  

·         manage websites using a content management system.

·         Create media (photos, videos, etc) using Adobe Creative Suite

·         install, configure and troubleshoot computers and networks

·         develop training manuals and other instructional materials

·         administer surveys and conduct evaluations

Qualifications

·         Ability to use MS Office Suite (equivalent)

·         Ability toassemble and disassemble a computer

·         Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

·         Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops

·         Knowledge of computer programming / web development

·         Successful completion of 9 Information Technology Credit Hours

Summary:

This internship is designed for students with an interest in Information Technology and enjoy helping others learn about technology, especially senior citizens.  As an intern students will gain experience in many of the following:  user training, media development and data management

Applicant Requirements:  Current Transcript and Proof of Enrollment

·         train users on various types of hardware to include:  computers, tablets and phones

·         develop training manuals and other instructional materials

·         administer surveys and conduct evaluations

·         Create media (photos, videos, etc) using Adobe Creative Suite

Qualifications

·         Ability to use MS Office Suite (equivalent)

·         Ability tosend email and browse the web

·         Ability to use mobile devices and computers

·         Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops

 

·         Recommendation letter for a teacher
